About MeThis is my 23rd year of teaching at Leyton Public Schools. I enjoy camping with family and friends, reading, playing piano, riding horses, judging rodeos, and volleyball.
Philosophy of EducationMy educational philosophy is to provide students with experiences through which they can grow emotionally, physically, mentally, and socially, in an environment conducive to learning. I will promote positive beliefs by utilizing positive reinforcement in enhancing students' opportunity for success. I will simulate real life experiences in the classroom to assist them in understanding the value of such qualities throughout life. I will ensure social development by helping students internalize and understand the merits of participation, cooperation, and tolerance. I will provide life-long learning experiences and educate each individual to the highest level at which they can function in society and gain responsible citizenship.
