About MeI am from the panhandle and attended Kindergarten through 12th grade in Garden County. I graduated high school in 2016. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated in a class of only nineteen. I enjoyed all of the opportunities that a small school provided students such as small class sizes and the opportunity to participate in any sport or extracurricular activity. When thinking about becoming a teacher, I knew that I wanted to teach at a small school. Upon graduating, I attended WNCC to earn my Associates Degree. I then transferred to Chadron State College where I earned my degree in Middle School Math education.
Philosophy of EducationAs a teacher, it is my goal to help all students be successful. Students learn in different ways I believe in teaching material in multiple ways to help all students succeed. I believe in helping students make real-world connections with what they are learning. It is my belief that if students are taught the connections between what they are learning and their day-to-day lives, they will understand the importance of the material. It is also my philosophy that students should be encouraged to find a love for learning. No matter a persons age, learning never stops and if students develop a love for learning, I believe they will strive to learn as much as they can.
