About MeHello! My name is Jamie Thompson. I am in my second year of teaching Kindergarten, but my first year at Leyton Public Schools. When I am not teaching you can find me outside, baking and cooking, or spending time with my family and friends. I have 7 younger siblings whom I love watching and supporting at their rodeos.
Philosophy of EducationProgressivism and reconstructionism. Through these philosophies, I allow my students to learn, make mistakes, and grow from the challenges they face. I provide them with a safe and positive learning environment while they are in my classroom. I encourage my students with positive feedback, confirmation of their strengths and abilities, love, and affection.
